Development of conductive thread heating element on wireless heating e-textile belt for thermotherapy application

Thermotherapy is the application of heat as a relief for pain and discomfort. That because stimulates sensory receptors in an isolated section body decreasing transmission signals to brain. This study presents heating e-textile belt provide needed temperatures thermotherapy using conductive thread elements. Bekinox 50/1 (BK 50/1) provided by Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI) were tested on threads’ temperature response input voltage. A regression model having 30 samples each was computed T-test, both data obtained scores 28.30499 BK 1.18830 PTRI with critical score t 0.025,28 = 2.048. showed linear relationship voltage while none. The element made developed has capability producing thermotherapy. Implementing this system, series 10 trials different target done. It produced accurate mean percent error 0.1420%, 0.5051% maximum.
